Day 1: ARRIVE DHARAMSHALA- Upon arrival, transfer to your Hotel. Best known as the home of the Dalai Lama and the seat of the Tibetan government in exile. Crisp, pine-fresh air, the magnificent vista of the Dhauladhar Mountains, a delightful selection of cuisines, stories and colours and spiritual immersion make Dharamshala an engaging destination. Marvel the warmth and picturesque splendour, the quaint, secluded collection of towns and villages in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. Afternoon we take you for a Kora walk- a short walk on holy trail around the temple and residence of H.H. Dalai Lama. During this 30 minutes walk you see tibetan people walking on this holy trail singing holy hymns and spinning prayer wheels in their hands followed by a visit to the temple of H.H. Dalai Lama. Dinner included & Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2: DHARAMSHALA- Breakfast. Morning tour of Dharamshala visiting St. John’s Church in the wilderness, Dharamshala Tea Garden, Cricket Stadium and Norbulingka (a tibetan centre for learning and preserving traditional tibetan art and craft). Afternoon visit Bhagsu Nag Temple, a short walk to Bhagsu waterfall and Sunset point and Naddi village. Dinner included & Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 3: DHARAMSHALA/PALAMPUR- Breakfast. Morning travel by road to Palampur (approx. 2-3 hours) down into Kangra valley & visit Masrur Rock Temple and Kangra Fort. It is two hours beautiful drive down in the valley to reach Masrur Rock Temple, the only temple of its style in the Himalayan region- made of one single sandstone rock cut into a short series of beautiful carved temples. These temples are believed to be 8th century old. From here you drive for an hour to reach historical Kangra Fort. There is a possibility of taking a short train ride from Kangra to Palampur if our timings match. The toy train passes through the countryside of Kangra valley. Arrive Palampur by later afternoon and check in Hotel. Dinner included & Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 4: PALAMPUR- Breakfast. Full day trip to Bir-Billing-Baijnath and Sherabling monastery. Bir-Billing is famous for best paragliding site in the world & the drive upto Billing offers you wonderful views of the valley below. You can opt for taking the most beautiful tandom paragliding ride from Billing to Bir at extra cost on your own. Later visit beautiful Sherabling monastery & ancient Baijnath temples. Dinner included & Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 5: PALAMPUR/MANALI- Breakfast. Morning travel by road to Manali (approx. 6-7 hours), a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. Manali, also known as the Switzerland of India, the landscape here is breath taking as one sees well-defined snow capped peaks, the Beas River with its clear water meanders through the town. On the other side are deodar and pine trees, stepped fields and fruit orchards. It’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley & trekking in Parvati Valley, also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting & mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass. Evening at Leisure for your own leisure activities. Dinner included & Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 6: MANALI- Breakfast. This morning cross over the Atal Tunnel, at a length of 9.02 km, it is the longest tunnel above 10,000 feet in the world, enjoy the scenic beauty of the Lahaul valley and return to Manali crossing over the Rohtang Pass (13,050ft) which offers great views of the Pir Panjal range. Dinner included & Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 7: MANALI- Breakfast. Morning visit the scenic Solang Valley where you can go for activities like horse riding, Yak ride or a cable car ride to the snow point above Solang valley (all these activities would be on extra cost). Later drive to visit some of the traditional villages like Shalang and Barua close to Manali. Afternoon sightseeing visiting Hadimba Devi & Manu Temple. Dinner included & Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 8: MANALI/KULLU/HOME- Breakfast. Morning transfer to the Kullu airport (approx. 55 kms, 1.5 hours) for your onward flight.
