Wildlife Safaris

“The Jungle Book”

Admire the beautiful diversity of the Indian jungle – dense forests, fresh streams, green hills, bamboo thickets, and flower-filled valleys. Experience first-hand the beautiful Indian jungle with its towering, ancient trees, enchanting chorus of forest birds, and herds of gentle chital (spotted deer). Twice-daily jungle safaris are conducted in the comfort of a specially designed open 4×4 safari vehicle, accompanied by an expert naturalist. Shy sambars (large forest deer) are spotted slaking their thirst at clear streams. Driving out into the constantly changing terrain, panoramic vistas unfold before the eye, with sweeping grasslands and often mighty cliffs as the backdrop. The morning peace of the jungle can be abruptly interrupted by the sharp distress calls of chitals and the constant chattering of langur monkeys. This could mean a tiger is on the prowl, and perhaps you may catch a glimpse of this endangered predator, in all its striped glory.

Embark on the ultimate wildlife experience in India exploring attractive national parks in India- Ranthambore, Gir, Panna, Bandhavgarh, Kanha, Pench, Satpura, Tadoba, Corbett, Dudhwa, Kaziranga, Bandipur, Nagarhole, etc. Ranthambhore is a treasure—one of the last refuges of the tiger in the arid wilderness of Rajasthan against the backdrop of a medieval fort. While it is one of the best places to watch these ‘royal’ cats in the wild, visitors can also expect very good bird life, mugger crocodiles and the rare sloth bear. Bandhavgarh is home to the highest concentration of royal Bengal tigers in the world; and the inspiration for Rudyard Kipling’s classic, The Jungle Book, the two reserves of Kanha and Pench represent the quintessential central Indian tiger land.

Some exclusive experiences include:

  • Tiger Safaris in the National Parks of Ranthambore, Bandhavgarh, Kanha, Pench, Satpura, Tadoba, etc.
  • Tigers aren’t the only big cats that you try your luck at seeing in India. Gir Wildlife Sanctuary has the last wild Asiatic lions in the world.
  • You will find the largest population of the prehistoric looking one-horned rhinoceros in the world at Kaziranga National Park.
  • If you love Elephants head to the National Parks of Nagarhole, Bandipur and Periyar.
  • Stay at Sujan Jawai Camp in Rajasthan to see leopards roam freely around the village of Bera and its surroundings.
